What's included

From your plant in Colombia to the shelf or the customer's door

Colombia and Mexico share a trade agreement and proximity, but that only solves the tariff. Everything else is these six points.

Entry without building your own operation

Depending on the product and the volume, in many cases you can start selling without incorporating in Mexico: we resolve the import structure. It isn't automatic — we validate it against your catalog before quoting.

Tariffs, trade agreement and NOM

Tariff classification and proper use of the Colombia–Mexico agreement, plus the NOM labeling each product family requires, all before the container ships.

Warehousing built for heavy goods

Hardware, steel cable, tools and tires aren't light e-commerce SKUs. Racking and positions sized for weight and density, not for small parcels.

Channel distribution

Pallet-level orders to hardware stores, distributors and retail, with dock appointments and pallet labeling to each chain's spec.

Direct sales and marketplaces

The same inventory also fills single-unit orders from your own store, Mercado Libre and Amazon Mexico, with no duplicated stock or operation.

Returns and warranty claims

Your customer returns inside Mexico. We inspect, restock what's sellable and report the reason — which in technical products usually reveals a fitment issue, not a quality one.

How it works

From Colombia to your channel in Mexico

Five steps. You produce and sell; we move, store and deliver.

// 01

We review your catalog

You send us what you sell, weight and volume per SKU, and the channel you want to reach. We tell you what each family needs to enter and what it will cost to run.

// 02

We prepare the entry

Tariff classification, trade agreement benefits, permits and NOM. All settled before shipping, which is where customs time is won or lost.

// 03

We receive in Guadalajara

Your goods arrive at the facility, get counted, recorded and shown in your portal from day one, with position-level location.

// 04

It ships to channel or end customer

By pallet with dock appointments if you supply distributors and hardware stores, or piece by piece if you sell direct. Both models on the same inventory.

// 05

Returns and replenishment

We handle returns and warranty claims inside Mexico, and flag when to replenish based on each SKU's real rotation.

Why Ecommex

What a Colombian company needs to stop operating blind in Mexico

Exporting to Mexico is easy. Keeping control of what happens after customs is what almost nobody solves.

01
Entry

Start without building structure

The barrier that stops most companies isn't logistics, it's structure: warehousing, staff and systems before knowing whether the product sells. Here you operate on a structure that already exists, and the in-house investment is decided later, with real sales data.

02
Reach

Channel and direct, one inventory

Supplying distributors and selling direct usually forces two separate operations. Here they share the same stock, so you can open e-commerce without dismantling your traditional channel.

03
Product

Built for weight, not just for boxes

Hardware, steel and tires break a fulfillment operation designed for light goods. Our facility moves dense, palletized freight every day.

Entering Mexico doesn't have to start with an investment in warehousing, staff and systems. Several of the Colombian brands we run started on a structure that already existed, with their inventory identified and visible from day one, and decided what to build in-house once volume justified it.

FAQ

What Colombian companies ask us

It depends on the product, the volume and the tariff classification. In many cases we resolve the import structure so your goods enter legally without a Mexican entity, and that's how several of the brands we run started. It isn't automatic: we review it against your catalog before quoting and tell you plainly whether your case allows it or whether incorporating from the start suits you better.
